Creating your first profile

In DBX for Pipeliner, a connection to a specific Pipeline is called a “Profile”.  You would need to create a new one to be able to import data into Pipeliner.

Provide a name for the profile and then specify the location of the local Pipeliner database (it ends in .db file extension).  The local Pipeliner database is usually stored in C:\users\<your username>\AppData\Roaming.

The rest of the profile settings can be retrieved from Pipeliner by following the steps from the the link below:

Click “Save” once all information has been provided.  Open the profile and start creating a new process and browse through the available articles on importing data into Pipeliner : http://www.dbxforpipeliner.com/learn/?cat=2
